Amanda Ava Koci (born February 16, 1994), known professionally as Ava Max, is an American singer and songwriter. Ava started in the music industry all the way back in 2008, with the Amanda Kay EP under Amanda Kay. It was only available on MySpace and it featured 5 songs. Ava released several songs under the name AVA in 2013 but most are nowhere to be found on youtube or soundcloud. In 2016 Ava released “Anyone But You” on soundcloud. That song launched her into her record deal with Atlantic Records.

Ava released several songs under the name AVA in 2013 but most are nowhere to be found on youtube or soundcloud. In 2016 Ava released “Anyone But You” on soundcloud. That song launched her into her record deal with Atlantic Records. She released her debut single, “My Way” on April 20th, 2018. “Not Your Barbie Girl” was released on August 13th, 2018. Four days later, “Sweet But Psycho” was released. The song gave her immense popularity and peaked at #1 in multiple countries and went #10 in the US. The follow up, “So Am I” was released March 7th, 2019. She released a remix featuring NCT 127 on July 3rd, 2019. On July 30th, 2019 she released double promo singles, “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and “Freaking Me Out,” they mark the first and second promo singles from Ava’s debut album. On August 9th, 2019, “Slow Dance” by AJ Mitchell ft Ava was released. On August 19th, 2019, Ava released her third official single, “Torn.” The music video was directed by Joseph Kahn. Her debut album is due out by late 2019-early 2020.
